Are you thinking about coming to Seville on holiday, to work, or -even better for us- to learn Spanish? We want to help you out with some tips and tricks so that your experience is more authentic, enriching and stress free.
If you arrive by plane, you can take the Aeropuerto Especial (AE) bus from the airport to the city centre for €4. Click here for more information.
If you arrive by train, remember that the main train station is called Santa Justa and it isn’t far from the city centre. If you arrive before 00:00, you can take a bus to any part of the city and it is a lot cheaper than getting a taxi. Click here for more information.
Once you get ‘home’, have a rest so you can…
Walk around the city… Seville is perfect for walking and getting lost in its narrow streets and its historic centre. If you are feeling a little sporty, why not hire a bike? The city has 140 kilometres of bike lanes, meaning you can cycle from north to south, east to west.
Once you have properly settled in the city, make sure you get a Sevici card so you can use the city council’s bike-sharing scheme.
We think the best way to get around the city is by bike: it’s quick, comfortable and environmentally friendly. But you can also use the bus and metro. If you need to use the bus often, you should buy a tarjeta multiviaje travel card from Tussam, which you can charge with credit. Each journey in the city is €0.69.
If you want to be able to talk with people from Seville, you should learn Spanish.
The best way to really experience a country is by speaking to local people, mixing with them, going to their bars and understanding what they are thinking. To learn Spanish, you need a good Spanish course that is adapted to your needs and interests, provides classes in small groups with flexible times, and uses an effective teaching method.
Sspanish can offer you a variety of courses, levels and activities, but most of all we offer you commitment and guaranteed learning. Sspanish is the best way to learn Spanish in Seville, if you don’t believe us, see what our students say about us:
Magdalena Aniol (Poland)
My teacher was undoubtedly one of the best Spanish teachers I’ve ever had. The course was professionally prepared and the exercises were suitable for all of the students’ level and interests. Classes were always fun thanks to the teacher’s lively personality. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn Spanish quickly and laughs are guaranteed!
Laura Ladisa (Italy)
My teacher was really competent and has lots of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I learnt a lot during the Spanish for residents course. It was great because I could adapt class times to my working hours and classes were really intensive. My course was mainly based on grammar because I had never learnt Spanish before. It gave me a good base to keep learning. Classes were adapted to my level and exercises are prepared depending on each person. I will take my “sacred subjunctive table” everywhere I go 😉

I started classes with Teresa because my brother had recommended her to me. I don’t regret it whatsoever! Teresa is really nice and dynamic and explains everything really clearly. Classes are really interactive and there was a good balance between grammar, exercises, speaking and writing. I liked that I was able to combine group and individual classes and I have the impression that I really improved during five weeks of really intensive classes. Thank you Teresa for your much-appreciated help!
